I joined the Square Stern Mafia

Now only Brad needs a y or square stern, then we can work out how to get them all into Marshall lake, or Faubert. Lovely boat/canoe Robin. Awesome.

How to handle the physical and psychological issues of aging?

My issues aren't as much physical as mental, although carrying my 57 pound Jack's Special more than a few hundred meters is no longer possible and rotator cuff and bicep tendonitis on both shoulders/arms doesn't help much. Since having a panic attack on a trip 3 years ago I have only been out...

    Spring has Sprung!

Ok, clarification required. +1-5 C the next week. Minuses overnight though. We have a regular snowfall the Friday prior to the May long weekend. It usually waits until the plum tree is fully flowered. In 2009 we got 11" on that Friday. We have to wait until June to officially have Spring.

    Spring has Sprung!

Sweatshirts with a hood are "hoodies". Lunch is lunch, Dinner is Dinner. Pickerel is pickerel, Northern Pike is Northern Pike. Not just regional but peoples too. The next week low single digit plus'. The flood forecast here is not good.

    Facebook Eats Everything

Mike, I don't do Fakebook and never will, but I am already a curmudgeon. Also no twitter, or any other social type site and no Smart Phone. Isn't the only really smart phone the one you don't have? Karin

How do you plan to staple those monsters to the forms? Finishing nails perhaps... Might be good to scarf them as well.

A tool recommendation - SawStop....and maybe other tools?

We replaced our old table saw at work with the Sawstop. Just under 10k for the one we got and it is used every day. Gone through more cartridges and saw blades than we would like since the operator keeps forgetting to disable it when running foam with the foil. At least he has not done it yet...

    Gas prices

Gas is down to 93.9 a liter here with oil down to $45 a barrel. It is a lovely time of year for all of us to get a holiday treat of lower fuel prices. I drive a 2010 Highlander, V6, 4WD.

    Gas prices

It is funny eh Red that just by crossing the border into Manitoba the fuel price drops like 30 cents a liter. The cost of crude dropped again this morning to under $49 a barrel.

    Wanted. Broken GoPro's for parts.

Mike, it is to repair a dysfunctional unit I purchased on Ebay a few years ago. The first unit I bought looked great and it did work but due to some issues I could not change the settings and it always said no SD card. I could have sent it back to the seller as unfit, but decided they would just...
