after all the brutal suggestions and also applications ...
my question: was salt or hot water it self never an option to melt the ice? - and then simply pour out the water?
there is a MANTRA: paddle smart, not hard ;)
that - in combination with a smaller paddle blade should considerably reduce the pain in the shoulder,
and changing the rhythm can also make paddling much easier.
a piece of line, a butterfly knot tied in the middle and then attached to the boat.
This is a solution ... sure - not the only one in the world - but a solution.
like a pro
There is some truth in that.
>> A nice dry suit changes everything for the paddler. <<
If it's too cold - just put on another layer, if it's too warm - just take a layer off.
With a drysuit and the appropriate layers, you are always perfectly dressed and always dry and cozy.
And, you still...
is like engine capacity - you can never have enough of it ;)
by the way ... your craftsmanship is something to be proud of.
I like it when people build their own objects! I really like your realization of the bumper edge! (y)

I don't think he (Boreal Birch said) was serious about what he said ....
he just want to kidding me ... ;)
At least that's how I understood him.
... because every pan does not care what has been fried in it and it no longer remembers when it is needed for the next frying.
I have a question:
I often see these pans as a set. A large pan together with a smaller one.
Is there a special use for this small pan in combination with the large one?
. . .
Unfortunately, I have not yet been able to use my pan on a canoe trip. Until recently, the illnesses of our elderly parents have kept us on our toes and the care has taken up a lot of our time.
So I quickly stocked the fire bowl with wood and roasted potato pancakes in between.
It worked...
