Do you pack light? Two people with gear in my 17' Spirit II didn't leave much room for a dog. I suppose if he is small he could stay between your legs. I'm sure some dog folks will respond.

If you find a red one outfitted solo it may have been my father's. He bought one brand new back in the early 90's, but sold it before I got hooked on paddling. Big boat - carry a lot of gear, but I have never seen another one around. What are you looking to paddle with that boat?
