Can Ram X Plastic be melted to Repair cracks in Ram X Canoe?

And then there’s G-flex or 3M 5200? Maybe “it cant be done” but i’ve used both, successfully on OT Discovery’s. maybe i’m just lucky or foolish or both? Ive also welded kids toys (hot wheel’s) etc with a propane torch and a screwdriver.

    staying logged in

I realize how old this is but im having those same issues, i believe. For months now, not just sporadically; when i start typing “canoetripping.com” into a search my ipad immediately recognizes where im going and loads after the “a”, no need to finish filling it in. Then when i click on the...

Upper Missouri River Guides: Montana Canoeing

Ceynars were at the west end of the park, we were on the Watson ranch; directly east of the north unit. It was very nice country 30 plus years ago, cant say how it would be now. After all, they got stop lights and all in Watford now!!😳

How is your winter so far?

Since Saturdays post; we’ve received another ft of snow and it looks like some pretty low temps thru the week. It’ll all be fine; we’re warm and dry and the bird feeder’s full!

How is your winter so far?

@Alan Gage , temps have been running single digit to low 30’s And the piles will still be there, but larger into Late April! Every now and then we’ll have some thawing which leads to black ice road conditions so we prefer plane ole snow.

How is your winter so far?

Over 75 inches of Snow at this point and snowing right now. Dug out a path up to the greenhouse and lit the Toyo so the roof would slide. 3 hours later it did. Cant complain, i’ve got a good plow truck and haven’t run outa places to shove it yet!

Stuff you don't need or hardly ever use, but you bring anyway

For me the gold standard is a Sheep Hunters pack/camp, which is most comfortable around 55-60 lbs. That would include a 2 man shelter and a weeks worth of freeze dries, water filter, sleeping bag, rifle, msr stove etc. These were always fly out hunts and you always had to consider how much...

Photos: Paddling the Mullica River (NJ Pine Barrens) in 1906

The splash caught my eye as well along with the neck ties and the poor gal wearing a skirt!

    Winter footwear preferences?

Ankle high Barbours until im wading in knee deep snow then pac boots. The Barbours have a much better fit than Duratuff’s; better support, firmer sole etc. However, up here this type of shoe/boot is my daily wear, winter/summer doesn’t matter. The pac boots are LaCross from the early 80’s, un...

    Sealskins socks

I'm with “knees hurt” on this and pull them off wet every time i wear them. Im wearing them in a different capacity than most, i believe. Waters cold here in Alaska and waders are too heavy, clunky to walk in etc. I discovered Hydroskin’s last year and my dress for anything water these days...

Helping some young people out dip net fishing

Here’s the Kid’s paddle, ready to go. I used a Sassafras otter tail for the pattern. I have one more paddle im finishing up then i need to get away from the epoxy for a while! My sensitivity level can only endure so much these days.

Slight Reorganization of Site Forum Nodes

Remembering how the fund raiser went and realizing how much you do for this group it confirm’s my earlier statement; “you work too cheep”. Maybe even a title change. How about “Glenn from Allstate”?

Helping some young people out dip net fishing

This net is shown against the first two. I‘m finding it interesting watching them progress. The big one is 84 oz., the mid one is 45oz. And the “Mongoose” is 22oz! Bag size is 60, 48 and 40. Im still evaluating net bag materials. The big one looks hulking in comparison and see’s no use these...
