Just testing out my cold gear before serious snow gets here. Everything was good except my fingertips. I’m going to look for an over mitten and some new waterproof gloves. My wool balaclava doesn’t fog my goggles at all, just sun glasses.

Those are Schnee pack boots, can’t remember the model (elk hunter?). Wool boot socks, pants, wool anorak, WoolX balaclava, Smith Rx goggles, a shearling bomber hat, Kinko leather work gloves over fingerless wool gloves, wool sweater and merino wool base layer. I think that’s it. Takes a long time to suit up, I know that.
