Favorite camp chair

I got a Helinox Chair Zero after using the Chair One for a few years. The difference in weight is noticeable, but I still must pack the sand foot with me. I think the heavier chair was a little more stable. My chair is more comfortable if there’s someplace to elevate my feet.

Helinox for backpacking and hiking. For canoe trips an REI insulated chair with wooden arm rests. Very comfortable especially in the cold.

I got the Helionox Sunset chair and made a down cozy for colder weather ... I like it because the feet can't sink into the ground

I’m a Helinox user for years. Tried the big Agnes mica basin chair and it was so much more stable and comfortable I’m definitely interested in upgrading, even though reducing weight has been my obsession snd its as tad heavier than the chair zero.

Do you have a favorite camp chair?
My wife and I had been using Crazy Creek "chairs" for years. They're light weight and versatile, but you end up on the ground if there isn't a log or rock or something to set them on. Not a big deal but we're getting older and getting up off the ground isn't as easy as it once was. Plus, our friends were all getting collapsible chairs and we were the only ones still sitting on the ground. So we upgraded a few years ago and got some Big Agnes "Big Six" chairs on sale. They're really good chairs on their own but if you nestle a Crazy Creek chair into them they're great. Better leg and back support and warmer when it's cold.

And for solo canoeing, to reduce weight and bulk, I bought a Big Agnes Skyline Ultralight stool and use a Crazy Creek chair on top of it. The combination is a good light weight, multi-functional combination.
