Solo Composite Canoe that can do it all 😉

Thank you Steve. I like the Prism. Just not a fan of the bucket seat.

Solo Composite Canoe that can do it all 😉

Thanks Gamma...weight definitely a concern now 😭 Lol. Hoping for 40lbs max🤞 Will keep exercising. The idea of building a boat sounds great but not sure I want to do that. I'm guessing the initial cost of tools and materials isn't really worth it unless I plan on building multiple boats -...

Solo Composite Canoe that can do it all 😉

Wouldn't mind the speed Alan but you probably right...17' not necessary. My longest boats are around the 16' mark, and they've done just fine in terms of capacity (sometimes I like to bring a lot of stuff ). A shorter boat - good way to save weight as well. The seaworthiness of a long...

Solo Composite Canoe that can do it all 😉

Am considering a new canoe. Composite. Solo. Webbed seat (preferably adjustable) that would allow me to kneel. 17’ long that has enough initial stability to allow me to fish with a light load but has enough capacity for several days worth of gear. Sounds like I’m asking a lot yes haha...

Who’s still paddling a Royalex solo boat

All I have is Royalex as well…aside from an aluminum canoe I sold about a year ago (not a Grumman). Have an Argosy and love it. Have two Sojourns as well (need some work) which are similar boats to the Argosy. Have a Mohawk Intrepid, an OT Pack and a Mad River Freedom that I modified into a...

    Panther Primitive 10x12

Thanks All. And thanks Boatman...wish I had decided to sell it earlier in the year...was in Maine this summer. Just so everyone knows...I do travel throughout the entire state of NY quite frequently so there is always the possibility we could meet somewhere other than Suffolk County if need be.

    Panther to Snowtrekker Winter Tent

Went with the 9x11.5...standard 5" stove jack, mosquito window in back and an extra set of the metal pole unions (?) in addition to the updated orange plastic ones. I have my own stove pipe support that I used with the Panther - similar to Snow trekker's - so hopefully I can rig it the same way.

    Panther to Snowtrekker Winter Tent

Thank you guys for all the information. I had a feeling the reviews would be positive for the Snowtrekker. I checked out Ellis briefly and although they look like exceptional tents, I went ahead and ordered the ST Shortwall…9x11.5….mainly out of familiarity. As mentioned, my friend has the...

    Panther to Snowtrekker Winter Tent

Hi, Dont frequent this site much but a great friend got me into hot tenting years ago and am now looking to downsize to something I can load into a canoe…and mainly for one person…two at most. The Panther wall tent has been great but I like the lighter, smaller Snowtrekker short wall. Aside...
