Many many years ago I worked for a shipwright and he taught me many skills including cabinet and wood working techniques. I have used these to good effect since that time in 1974.
My major project was ti fit out a 42ft yacht in my yard and launch it in 2004. I have sailed all around the world in Malua The Med, Atlantis, Caribbean, USA, Panama Canal and Pacific
Now is the time to build a use a strip planked kayak.
I am documenting the process and will do the same when I cruise round Tasmania next year in Malua and the kayak
