I use a SPOT Gen 3. Whenever I am canoeing, hiking, motorcycling, I leave my tracking on. She has access to my SPOT account. I figure even if I cant hit the panic button, they will still have an idea where to look for me.

Lol! You need a dually to haul a Coleman! Actually this is an old picture. One of the rear leaf packs failed. I have since replaced the rear leafs and shocks. Good eye. I need to weigh it. It is the 15 foot model. I would estimate 65-70 lbs.

Ilwaco WA gets the cold shoulder too. We are the last port on the mighty Columbia! Hopefully it is released to streaming services after the scheduled showings.

Moved from the Desert to the Sea

We moved in December. I have been busier that a one armed paper hanger. Finally got a short paddle in today. The only canoe I have access to currently is my 15 foot Coleman so I loaded it up and paddled on the lake just down the road. I am looking forward to year round paddling.

Lots of good paddling in Central Wa. Check out the Tapteal Water Trail on the Yakima River for something very close to your location. Yakima is not terrible, but it does have a lot of crime fir it's size. I work in healthcare. I have seen some stuff ...

    Winter pants

Dickies Temp IQ. They are great all-around winter pants. They are not to warm for indoors and they have a little stretch. These: https://ramseyoutdoor.com/products/men-s-warning-temp-iq-duck-utility-pants-rinsed-brown-duck?srsltid=AfmBOooV1YrIgP-BdMX7Jm4SH4-ZcrY-aRKZE1pHOAhAw9-Re47u24AP

Moved from the Desert to the Sea

We have had the vacation house for about 12 years. We sold our house near Yakima Wa and moved to the coast full-time. Where abouts in Eastern Wa are you located?

Moved from the Desert to the Sea

We sold our house on the dry side of Wa State and moved into our vacation house on the Southwest Washington coast. We are literally surrounded by water. The Columbia River, Willapa Bay and the Pacific Ocean are all minutes away. There are also many small rivers and sloughs. I picked up a local...
