I fell in love with canoes and paddling 25-30 years ago. I did several long trips in the Everglades Wilderness Waterway, Central Florida, Killarney, Southern Canada and a bit here in Maine. I fell away from paddling and am craving getting in the canoe. Due to an illness I think this summer will likely be my last one walking. Therefore, I'm trying to pick up a used Kevlar solo that I can portage on one shoulder and use my cane on the other side. It's a log shot, but the calling is strong.
