I have a New Cruiser 18.5 in my basement. I took out the front seat and used it solo for 30 days in WCPP once. I would trim it on calm days so I could sit in the stern seat. In rough water I could step forward and kneel behind the center thwart I put in for portaging. 33 pounds and 18.5 was really light for the day. I was temped to leave my Prism at home after that trip. It was adaptable, I remember kneeling backwards next to the stern seat and paddling up winding streams with ease. Somedays I did the same thing heading into strong winds and waves. Amazingly the 12 inch sides on it were not a problem. Mine says Jenson disigned on it.
