I'm pretty much a day tripper and fisherman. Here are some pics of this past Sunday's trip.

Good looking bass water there. Is a natural lake or an impoundment?

It's a man made lake. I spend most my time on this lake due to it's clarity and closeness to my home. There are a lot of rock formations along the banks and no houses that can be seen from any location on the lake.

Are there a lot of bass boats, or is it pretty quiet?

It's a 9.9hp limited lake. This day only 3 other power boats were on the water. Most days I'm out about 8-10 hours and only see someone else on the paddle back to the ramp. Sunday, I was on the water a 04:15 and paddled for over an hour in dark/heavy fog to the end of lake where I caught this bass. It was my biggest bass of the year, so far. Google map Advent WV to get an idea of what the lake looks like. It's pretty remote down a twisty narrow road and it's full of stumps. This tend to keep a lot of the Bass boats away. :mrgreen:

Thanks, I hope to get back out on this lake in the next few weeks. Temps below 20° have had it iced up the past few weeks.
