I am planning a trip with my Wenonah WWC-1 in about a month. I was thinking of covering a few areas of exposed cloth with G-Flex. Is this a good idea? If I use it should it be thickened?

Welcome. Your canoe is a Coleman. The material is polyethylene. They can be a challenge to repair as not much sticks to polyethylene. They can be patched, usually with plastic welding. You can find videos online.

I have a Tripper of similar vintage. There is concern with the white gunnels becoming brittle with sun exposure. Make sure to check them out. My canoe has seen a lot of sun and the gunnels are fine.
The Tripper is a great stable family canoe.
Agree with @MrPoling. The wear on the ends is common, but the bent gunnels are concerning. The price would need to be very low. You are looking at most likely replacing the gunnels, recaning or webbing the seats and probably skid plates.
